Regency Costume

As soon as my two friends found out that I had never seen Pride and Prejudice, we were planning a movie night. The night was planned a month in advance to fit into our busy schedules. We watched the BBC, 1995, 5 and a half hour version and I enjoyed it very much! I love the regency style so I promoted dressing up for the event. I used one of my mom's dresses and made a big pleat in the back and added a ribbon for an empire waist. I made the bonnet from a pattern from the book From the Neck up: an Illustrated Guide to Hatmaking by Denise Dreher.
I made the bonnet the day of the movie night so it still needs some finishing touches!
