The other day I was surprised to find that my mom had "decorated" my sewing room with all the outfits I have been making! She hung them up along with one of my favorite verses:
"Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,
whose hope is in the Lord his God,
the Maker of heaven and earth,
the sea, and everything in them—
the Lord, who remains faithful forever."
Psalms 146:5-6
I am so grateful to use my brother's empty room as my sewing room! I have everything I need in one place. My sewing room essential are:
- Laptop, CD's etc. for all my listening needs (what would I do without Tim Keller sermons and Agatha Christie murder mysteries?)
- Not one, not two, but three sewing machines! My wonderful Pfaff, a sewing machine with an invisible zipper foot, and another one for basting etc.
- Seam ripper, scissors... other sewing necessities.
- An ironing board and iron

Well that is a glimpse of my sewing room, I probably spend more time in that room than any other nowadays!
